Reaching Saraburi with rescued friends from Bangkok, everybody just poured out all the traumatic experiences they had during the flood. These friends you see on the images, are friends trapped in an a partment and they had to take turns in bailing out water from the elevator shaft. Tenants from different rooms had bailing schedule and keeping the place clean by disposing of the garbage.
Food was rationed by the Thai Government (great performance so far), and it was the extreme difficulty of an experience. A lot of people were warned before the flood even came, they still remained at home to settle and party on the street as the water came until they really had to leave. Some left just in time, some trapped and suffered extreme consequences.
We don’t have to prove if the flood reaches you, just leave, better be safe than sorry!
