To get where jacod is in Leyte was quite a chore and a challenge. I had to take several rides to get to the school where he is studying at. he is a working student, living in the dormitory. He earns his education by cleaning and working for the faculty and staff of the school. East Visayan Adventist Academy is a school in which students who can’t afford, work for their education. Now we are giving Jacob the opportunity to just study and do some extra work so that he balances everything. Thanks a lot to the generous sponsors who are willing to take care of him and send him to school for the full school year of 2015 to 2016.
There are many activities that we’ve done in this school year. we are enjoying all of the activities. On January 22-26 will be our SSG program. There will be many games that the officers prepared like; basketball, volleyball, table tennis, sipa takraw, track and field. mind games, singing competition, and group presentation.
We have visitors coming from the East Visayan Conference. They will visit us and play also against the alumni and the faculty.
I joined the games and I won the marathon, its the only price that I received. So we thank God for the success of the program that He guided and protected us. Next is our Junior and Senior Prom in February 26, 2014. It will be beautiful that night because it is just once in a life time in high school life. Also I am the Vice President of our Junior Class. They like how I lead them. This be part of my life memories, I will never forget.
Lastly, in March 20-22 we had our Graduation. I am very proud to say that I got an award and and received a certificate because I am a Principal’s Lister from the first to the fourth grading. And during our graduation days we have good weather and a dynamic speaker. And after this, Grade 9 curriculum we will continue to pursue our K 12 curriculum.
Thank you for the financial support, I owe you all a lot, because you are helping me to continue to pursue my study. God bless you and more blessings to come! thank you for everything. Hoping to see you soon again.
